Marlène DOLITSKY est titulaire d'un Doctorat de linguistique et Maître praticien en PNL (Programme Neuro Linguistique). Maître de conférences, elle a travaillé chez Colgate-Palmolive en tant que Responsable Formation Langue et comme Conseiller en Communication dans un cabinet d'outplacement.

PRESENTATION PHASE OF THE INTERVIEW :

It is common nowadays for job interviews to take place partially or totally in English.

In answer to the question, "Tell me about yourself", the candidate is expected to give a brief presentation of his/her work experience. In this seminar, you will learn and work on the specificities of the form of an opening presentation in English with its do's and its don'ts.

INTERVIEW QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS :

Responding interview questions demands strategy. While taking his/her cue from the interviewer, the interviewee must answer all questions honestly while giving a positive impression of him/herself at all times : you will learn and work on how to leave the interviewer in a better state than when you came in, with a positive attitude toward your application. You will be given pointers concerning the expectations of native English-speaking interviewers. Cultural differences with French interviews will be discussed.

YOUR RESUME IN ENGLISH :

Your resume in English should be easy to read and understand at a glance. The prospective interviewer should be able to create a clear picture of the work you are able to do, clear enough to imagine you working in a specific job.
